IAC and Holworks Music
Ok, I am 49 and I just started in music in October 2007. I guess that really isn't accurate as I have been listening to the radio all my life. Growing up in rural North Carolina was no easy feat especially when it comes to speech, language, and how words work. That took some time for me to understand the relationship of the pen to paper. Then, I had to go one step further and begin welding notes to syllables so that a song came out instead of just a poem. The songs you hear on my page are all like that. An analytical brain converting numbers to art?

I would never have imagined that a possibility until people started telling me they loved to hear and or watch me sing. Since I do not play cover tunes, a band is out of the question for now. All the musicians I have run into who can play do not want to venture into the fog of original music as they play their covers on Friday and Saturday nights in the places where people expect them to be better than the band that played those same songs the Friday before though most can't remember what songs they heard last Friday and just know if this band can play it like the original so they can sing in unison the words they learned because of the radio repetition.

It's all good, bless their hearts. Not me though. I have a head full of music and words that escape at an instant, so listen up. There is NO ONE like me here or any other Internet site. I am not famous because I have not been promoted yet. Still, I am undaunted as the songs keep birthing and I furiously write them down as if my alter-ego just gave me another golden egg. Well, I say let's scramble those eggs and get to the transmutation of gold into platinum. Yep, that would do it.

One day, some one will help me.

I do not know at what level that will occur, but I know it is coming. I know that there are people who can and will help if they are convinced. I do not talk except in this blog. The music must speak to them. It must speak to you.

There's a Chance, . . .
