Middle of the night Reggae song by Richard Scotti on The Pipeline at IndieMusicPeople

Wow - lucky you - my dreams aren't usually nearly that fun. What a great tune and I don't even gravitate that much to reggae usually. I don't know what makes this one different but it is - the harmonies or something - maybe the lead guitar. I'm not one to dive in and figure out why, just if something works then I love it. Looking forward to the final result with vocal or whatever else happens.

Also looking forward to your upcoming cd. I'm hoping you're doing some vocals. We're about "this" close to being done with 7 or 8 tunes which be Shoe City Sound Vol 3.

Nice Job Man! This has a great feel to it and I think you captured the reggae vibe quite well. As you know, Reggae is another one of those genres that is in my wheel house. As a matter of fact, my new Reggae Cd will be released very soon. I tend to reserve my comments on songs for the R/C area but I am making an exception because you are such a great artist and this is going to be a really cool song. Can't wait to hear some vocals on this. Be sure and do your research on the culture so the lyrics will correlate with the Rasta mystique. The only thing I would add to this song is a bridge. That would lengthen it and give it another flavor to feast on. But that is a production decision that you have to make on your own. Just a suggestion. All & all, I & I send respect! So, you popped your Reggae Cherry. Gonna be a sweet time for ya from here on out. Feeling Irie!

Thank you Delores and Stoneman. Yeah, it's still a work in progress. I may not actually put it on my new CD as it will sound too put of place. It's the 13th song!!!!
No I'm, not superstitious but maybe when it's perfected I should put it on another CD that has similar genres or at least a few other reggae songs. I'll probably just hold on to it for this friend who gives me tips on who is looking for what song. There always seems to be a call for a reggae song and the next time around I may have something for him.

I have since added a bridge to the song.

Your station intrigues me as I am also a big fan of Steve Allen. He was not only very funny but a great musician/composer too. He was ahead of his time in every way.I even read his autobiography called "Mark It And Strike It".

Steve Ison ~ When I had to make a choice between a bridge as sunny as the rest of the song (the safe bet) or something darker that would be more of a contrast, I did what I thought you would have done ~
the unconventional thing! Thank you for validating my decision. You have great ears!

I hope to write more reggae in the near future and to add the vocals to this track.
It's really a refreshing change from all the rock and folk rock stuff I've been doing lately.
