Happy New Year to IAC Friends!
Hello again - I can't quite believe another year has passed. We had a hectic Christmas and New Year with tons of family visits and the usual seasonal things.
The best music thing I can report for me was my husband bought me a fantastic Roland practice amp for Christmas which was a really generous and unexpected surprise. It is very light - great for whimpy me - has two channels with reverb and ambient effects, a built in 40 sec over-dubbable loop function so you can accompany yourself with a beat or some simple chords. Best of all though is the absolutely brilliant stereo output quality of the speakers - it's hard to believe such a great sound can come from such a small piece of kit. For those interested it's a Roland AC33 (Acoustic Chorus).
Anyway - the good thing is it makes me want to practice and play and that will lead to at the very least some improved playing - and who knows - maybe some new songs.
So I hope you all had a decent New Year as well and look forward to keeping listening to all you lovely music (providing the old place keeps on going!!).

Happy New Year Chandra! Glad to hear you had a blessed holiday season. Also, congrats on Santa's (Your Husband) gift. My wife knows that anything musical in regards to gear is always a big hit with me. This year I got a new acoustic guitar. Maybe it will inspire me to play more stuff like that. Maybe not. I already have four other acoustic guitars. But this one has amplified pick ups. Hopefully it will help me to improve my guitar playing skills. They have always been a bit lacking. Sometimes I look around the studio at all the instruments and gear I have and it makes me feel so blessed and thankful. Anyway, wishing you the best year ever!

hi Chandra, great to hear of your new accessory, it is always good to have something that will add that special touch to certain projects. and it will definitely augment unique and interesting sounds and songs
