What a wonderful response.
I have only been at IAC for a few days but I can't believe the response I have had to my little piece of a cappella music. I really don't deserve it because of all the wonderful songs I have found here created by such talented musicians and I spent so little time creating this sample of my work. I am currently trying to find a band to front in the Nth California area. My studio work is not enough to support me and my boy. I'm also doing bar and shop work to stay alive. I've always sung, I was gigging in hotels and as part of a dance troupe since my teens. I have written my own songs but I don't play guitar, all I have is my voice. I envy real musicians and songwriters and rely heavily on generous friends to help me produce anything at all. I have lent my vocal support to many other productions on the Dance circuit and in my field I guess I am in demand but my dream is to front my own traveling show. Anyhow, there was a problem with my song but I see it has been fixed now so I just wanted to thank you for listening and choosing 'Fly West'

it is i or us who should thank you for bringing your talent here with a performance that wants myself and others to play and select you.
Therefore thanks to you for the pure joy and to all the other great new artists that give so much of themselves to the beat indie site in the world.

Listenin' to the tune as I write this. Had to check it out 'cause FLY has talked so much about you. Very well structured, and it loops well -- if you listen to it continuously for a moment. This looping factor is a plus, since it happens automatically if one chooses an individual song & doesn't immediately cut it when the track has ended. I've noticed that a lot of the songs that LOOP well like that tend to do well on IAC.

Excellent voices, I know at least one of them is modified electronically, etc., are they all electronic variations of your actual voice? I'm guessing the one mentioning "Babylon" is your ACTUAL voice.... trying to place the ACCENT, but can't. Anyhoo... nicely done for such a simple acapella collection of notes! Glad to see the famous FLYGIRL who's forthcoming was announced by FLY for so long, finally made it here! Keep on performing & doin' your art in voice/dance/etc... YOU ROCK!

Steve, thank you too - I'm in Marin County now but originally from Austin and as a child, Serbia.

Conversation S - I didn't have much imput in the production I have a close DJ friend who uses my voice for his shows - that's why I feel humble at the great response - thanks for your words I love your music too and Steve's.

This is awkward but you may notice that I was 'set free' by the great Fly today and in a way, although the timing was bad, that has allowed me to feel more of a person in my own right. Your encouragement is a great boost to me Converstation S because I admire your style and the way you conduct yourself at IAC. You have the balance so right I think between business and pleasure. I JUST noticed that AFTER I had posted this.

I'm sad for you two! I've tasted of that kind of LOVE before & even had it with my current WIFE for the first two years -- but It's been a struggle to not let some of the aspects of LIFE (music,promotion,practice,web work, day job, money troubles, etc.), begin trying to CHOKE it out of us...

I hope that you use this new freedom wisely, and take your time before entering into another whirlwind LOVE-fest with FLY or anybody else.

It's hard to believe that today has been one of the worse and best in my life. I didn't see any of this coming. In a way IAC has caused the end of my past and the start of my future although I guess it was on the cards with Fly sometimes love can be so strong it makes practical life impossible.

That is a stage costume from my Dance troupe days but just a replica that I modeled for. We had a routine where we all had costumes of insects, in fact this is how Fly and I first made contact. The world is full of co-incidences, some call it fate. Don't worry about the other thing anyway, you weren't to know. FGxox
