I have never had the pill so I am not sure but I suspect that it gets you higher as it seems that anything derived from cannabis that is ingested by mouth into the body has a much stronger effect. That's why I don't do edibles. I have had some really bad WTF? moments on them so I stopped. The VA hands out a form of THC pill that they call marinol. It is usually given to terminal cancer patients and those that are undergoing chemo treatment The people that I know that have taken it say it is very potent. So, I think most people would say that it gets you higher than smoking. I vape which also gets you higher than smoking without all the lung expansion issues. My doctor says that edibles are the healthiest way to ingest. He's probably right but I am not quite sold on that.
