Red White and Blue
Red White and Blue was written out of honor and respect for the men and women who fight for our country. It is the tale of a young woman pledging her love to a wounded solider as he lies in his hospital bed. Suffering from amnesia and post traumatic disorder, he does not recognize her.
The song set the scene of when she first entered his hospital room. He sees her tears as they rolled down her cheek. Not recognizing that he does not remember her, she simply stretched her hands out towards him, walked over and kisses his cheek. The verse of the song is her pledge to support him after he is discharged and returns home. The song not only honors the injured warrior but it also the American Flag and its release is very fitting for memorial day.

Ruth, thank you.

Being married to an RN myself, I can say that you are a hero (heroine if you prefer) too.

How you can deal with the challenges of nursing and still have the energy to write is a wonder to me.

I will be adding you to a station tonight when I get to my laptop.

Thanks for all you do,

Glenn

Another well crafted tune and heartfelt. Ruth you've really got something good going on... hope you can get it into the right hands.
A song like yours may be just what our divided country needs right now.
Nice job expressing the realities some brave folks have faced
Salute... ;-)
