Museum of Common Relics
Here's a quiet fingerpicked folk tune. Played it with dead strings on my crappiest guitar because the tone just worked better than any alternative I tried, so here it is in all its thin, flat, maudlin glory.

Everyday life is filled raw barren landscapes in which we tread lightly to avoid the landmines at our feet. Opportunities missed. Connections faded and tattered. But as long as we have breath we have hope.
Mike paddles some deep cold waters here with the reveling of each passing day we each step closer to the inevitable edge. Yet those fears may be calmed even as the spiders and coldness crawls out of the cracks in our mind. There is yet a chance at redemption.
Mike brilliantly captures the everyday struggles but manages to deliver a message that all will be well in the end.
As long as we carry on despite our troubles and don't surrender regardless of circumstance we can we will be "laughing in the end"

Atmospheric and heartfelt! Love the finger picking and the guitar sound. Deep lyrics too.
Nice work!

I've noticed that some new songs won't work on certain browsers for a while, but after a while they do.... I can't figure out why. I can usually get them to work in another browser when this happens. (Chrome is my default, but firefox is the reliable backup.)

Thanks Mike, I'm using Chrome .. while searching around the site yesterday I found several songs that won't play for me but yours was the only one on the front page that won't play .. strange ... I'll be sure and have a listen when I get it sorted out ... :)
