Anyone like classical
Never did a cover before never did classical either. So it is all brand new to me but could not resist doing one of the parts from Adagio for Strings just so good. Got into it thru William Orbits version of this opus. I have done a Sitar version with Electronica mixed in.

Hi Paul - I definitely like classical, and I like what you did here, but I'm positive that this theme is the opening of the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata - gotta admit I don't know the Barber Adagio for Strings - I'll go find it and have a listen for sure ... but so far I'm confused haha

Oh so that explains it ... I really like the idea of all genres being equal - a good tune is a good tune. I've always thought, what if Mozart had ever had a synth? And then I, coincidentally, read somewhere that if synth had been invented way back a long time ago, Mozart would have composed on it, but Beethoven wouldn't have. I thought that was funny and probably true. Anyway, again, totally liked what you did with the Beethoven and would love to check out the Adagio for Strings too. I've been toying with the idea of doing some Impressionist stuff that I love - Debussy or Faure.

Beethoven is the ultimate bass player. You never really hear pieces that accentuate that side of them. I am sure if he had a Minimoog he would have whacked a truly rumbletastic bass from it. Or any of the instruments we take for granted because of modern samplers and synths. What i found making them is how complex the pieces are. The Beethoven piece has 64 tempo changes in it been a real good learning experience. So i think doing Debussy or Faure would be great
