Quick listen to "Born A Genius"
Hi IACers,
I've made short clips (20 to 30 seconds each) of the 12 songs on my new album, "Born A Genius". Check 'em out!

Great work John,

It has great interesting sound with engaging songs, you should be very proud of it!!

Is there an official link to your page where I could direct people to?

I hope you sell a few millions!!

Ciao,

Vincenzo

Thanks Vince. I appreciate it. The link to the tunes is:

www.download.johnpippus.com

Now a question for anyone - I know Bryon Tosoff knows this, so if you're reading this Bryon: how do I make the above web address a hyper link for an IAC blog?

Hi Sam.
Thanks for that. And I now see that the "www" is what messes it up. It's just "download.johnpippus.com"

OK. So I'm ready for the hyperlink lesson!

Really good sounding music, John. The clips are a great, user-friendly way to present your songs.

Thanks Tom. It's always hard to know how to get your stuff heard. But I figured that the 'quick listen' approach is good for those who prefer to skim (and who doesn't in this info overload age?)

Looking at my stats, I'm getting a lot more listens this way, than when I post full songs. Now, to translate that into online sales. This is the biggest challenge in this whole music marketing game I've found.

John I have to make it a picture ...

Look at the pic and type this on a notepad page and save it for future reference if you like.
Make sure you type it EXACTLY as the pic shows .... including all " and <,> / etc. ...

You can title the link anything by replacing "Born A Genius" with what ever you would like it to say ... such as "New CD" etc. etc.

.. and you can link to any web page by changing the "http://download.johnpippus.com/" .. as in ... "http://iacmusic.com/artist.aspx?id=33928", which is your IAC page.

Have fun !
Sam

Thanks Sam.

Basic html coding! I should have thought of that. My web guy has shown me how to change content at my site and now I see the same applies here on the Pipeline.

So I can bold text. or use italics and of course, as you point out,I can hyperlink as well.

Good to know.

John
