I NEED SONGS FOR THE 4TH
Hi,
I belong to a veterans group at work. We do a lot of things like Habitat (build houses/repair things) for disabled veterans. Fund raisers for limbs, wheelchairs, pay bills, etc.
Every year we have a 4th of July Picnic for deployed troops where we send care packages. Each year my band usually plays for an hour and a half. Well this year the band can't make the commitment and I plan on doing a DJ thing. My idea is to promote some of our best INDIE work to about 400 to 500 people.
If you have a song about our country, independence, 4th, war, something that fits the occasion, send me the link, or message me. Sorry no royalty payments, this would be from the heart. I can let people know who wrote their particular song, and give them info provided on how to find more.
This thread isn't for starting a discussion about our government or our troops or the politics in between. I'm just giving people a chance to have some of their music heard..
I have about a week to get this song list done. MP3's would work best.
