I know its a long shot but........
On new years eve I was speaking to friend of mine who posed the question..'Why do you not play live?' . We discussed how much fun I would have playing my stuff live but then got I got realistic as I explained how hard it would be to get all the right muscians together who could play the music and enjoy playing it. Like the wise man he is, my friend simply said 'find a pianist, and the rest will follow', and thinking about it he could be onto something. If I could start with a pianist and do a few low key gigs, Im sure I could make enough friends along the way to get a full band together. Which brings me onto the title of this post.....
I know its a long shot but is there anyone from the UK here who might know a goods place to start looking for a pianist at a loose end? If anyone else has any suggestions about where to start looking or how to go about my seach, they will be much appreciated.
