Indie Rock Revolution submission guidelines
Want to have your song played on a future version of Indie Rock Revolution? Follow these guidelines and we will listen to your submission and consider it for a future show.
1. Since the show is hosted from IACmusic.com, you must have an artist page here and the song you'd like to submit on that page. You can create a free page there with up to two songs. We will not listen to your myspace page first as the player is usually buggy.
2. Your song must be written, arranged, performed, recorded and produced well. We like vocals and instruments that are in tune and usually prefer live drums (or occasionally drum samples and loops that sound professional for some genres).
3. You must not be signed to a major label or with some of the larger indie labels such as Epitaph or Fueled by Ramen that have many ties into commercial radio. Occasionally we may play major label artists that we feel are "under the radar", but let us find you if this is the case.
4. Your song needs to be generally classifiable as alternative or modern rock, or an appropriate subgenre such as punk, industrial or electronic rock.
If your song meets these guidelines, please feel free to post a comment or send a private message from this page with a link to your IAC page and the title of the song you'd like considered. Please only submit one song to us. Please keep in mind that the next show you will be considered for is at least two months away...but we will let you know if we're going to play your submission on a future show.
