Life After Death part 2
I just thought I'd continue the thread in a new one since the old one is taking longer and longer to load and it's such a great discussion. If you'd rather keep it all in one, just keep using the old one. :)
Anyway....there are actually 3 "word of God" books in Christianity if you include the Book Of Mormon. And probably more that I don't know about.
Anyway, for some wild stuff, check out the Gospels of Phillip or Thomas. There's even a gospel of Mary Magdalene. Had those books been voted for inclusion instead of the ones that were, Christianity would look very, very different today. Further illustrating how it was the early church and their votes and councils that gave us the version we have today.
