Is you age affecting your performance?
I know there are quite a few older artists here and I have many older friends, some with 40 plus years in the business but lately they have been complaining that health and age is taking its toll.

Fingers become less mobile, sitting and standing for long periods is hard, the neck gets stiff playing guitar. Remembering lyrics gets harder. Eyesight and hearing are less reliable. Then the female vocalists find they need to lower their pitch and slow the tempo. Despite this, there are still many, many older acts still rocking our socks off like Paul McCartney

As an older listener I find I prefer songs that don't excite or offend me so much.

I wouldn'r say age as much as inactivity. If you don't play, you get rusty.

My voice has gotten deeper as I've gotten older.
I used to be more of a tenor, but I'm creeping into baritone territory and I think it suits me well, actually.
Here's an older one: http://indiemusicpeople.com/songs.aspx?SongID=906&ArtistID=10003
And here's one of my newest: http://indiemusicpeople.com/songs.aspx?SongID=113530&ArtistID=10003
I can hear it. Maybe you can't, but I can.

Nope. I am celebrating the 40th anniversary of my 21st year like a true 21-year-old. Had me some fun live on Facebook last night.

Thanks guys, you're all damn quick off the mark this time. If you haven't seen this before it's really funny. A little out of date but still works. He impersonates older artists and changes some lyrics.

Yeah, arthritis has practically banned me from my drum set. Guitar is harder to play because my fingers hurt all the time and lyrics are impossible to remember because I had brain surgery a couple of years back and it affected my memory. So, yeah, I would say that advanced age has really fucked me up. I am no where near the musician and performer I was 20 years ago. Also my stamina is pretty bad even though I work out daily. Finally, (and most importantly) my patience with other people has completely expired. There is no way I could be in another band. I would wind up committing murder.
