This one "hotter" than the other, but I think I prefer the "cool" one with the softer guitar and vocal and the sythn and drum track. Both good though, just my taste I guess.
Nice acoustic on this new one. What do you use?
That's so cool that you got to open for the Ventures.

Thanks again for the input.
It's always weird re-recording something. I don't think you ever capture what you got before but I wanted to try to get a better sound quality on the song since I am using much better equipment since I recorded that song originally.
The guitar is very sweet. It's a Taylor 514CE which records (as you can hear) wonderfully. On the original recording I used a Taylor 410 thats about 28 years old now. It's a good guitar but doesn't have the feel and "shimmer" of the 514. The 514 has crazy aftertones that you hear just from playing a single note. It's real good for fingerpicking but doesn't hold up as well for hard strumming as the 410 does.
But anywho thanks once again for listening.

They are both good Jack, just different treatments, If you had to put on on an EP, I think it would depend on the overall style. I tend to lean a bit over the older one like TT, but they are both good Jack, Keep it up!!
