Is There Something New in the System Here?
I notice now that when I look up "listens per month," that starting November there is an earnings number attached saying people paid for listens. But also, I see that listening dropped off drastically in November compared to any other month. Is there some new fee being charged for people to listen that hadn't been charged before?

Listeners aren't being charged. There's a new promotion called the KIAC cash stream that you can opt in to, where you can get paid for people streaming your songs. I think plays have dropped because I don't think they allow plays from remote players to count.

It's actually all very exciting. I am SOOO going to buy me a stick of gum w/ my windfall!
I just wish to thank the ... potentially 6 or less people that made this all possible.
lol ...

Hmm..I had 1500+ Plays on one of my songs last month...this month the same song has 6, we are a 3rd of the way through the month, so it comes out to about 18 plays this month... Only a 1482 play drop off. The plays have been steady in the past, with the new system.... nothing. I never did trust the stats, now its really confusing.
Can we please just get a system that tracks plays consistently, and is close to accurate?? If only six have listened, thats ok... I guess the thousand plus plays was a pipe dream...
I can hear Toby coming down the hall with his "This is a site issue, not suitable for the pipeline" .... but I think it warrants an open discussion, Has anyone else lost over a thousand plays?
