These Are Tracks I'm Gonna Try to Get Some Friends to Play On...
All three of the guys I've only ever played with now own 1680's and 1880's, and they're all barely able to function on them, so we've never yet done any work together. I'm gonna try to get the ball rolling for the first time ever with this tune.
I mean, it needs drums, so maybe Matt will lay some out. Needs a bass. Sean could bust out his Rickenbacker. Not too hard to just plug it in direct. Don't know what Tom might add since I used up so much space, but at least I'm gonna try to open the door.
It's so funny we all have this stuff and no work has happened. We might do better stuff together than we ever did before since for the first time these guys can take all the time they want. They've never had that luxury.
So I even played this to a metronome and everything, and it's all replaceable. Have a cold, so I don't think I'll keep these vocals.
Haven't worked with a metronome for awhile. Not my favorite thing to do, but I think it's gonna make it all go so much smoother.
Do you think it sounds like something other people could play to?

nice stuff Bob ... I see no problem with a bass player filling in a nice bass line on this at all ... I mean playing on top of the track ... the drums are always a little trickier but with the solid rhythm you've laid down I'm sure it can be done ...
.. so yeah I think other people could play to it ...

Charming tune, Bob - doesn't sound as though you need any assistance to me, though I understand the urge to merge. I think this one has the kind of "legs" you were talking about lately. Strong work. Two thumbs up.
