I ain't ashamed to have the name Fidney
When I went to grade school, some of the kids made fun of my name. They'd yell it across the corridors and at recess "Fidnaaaaaay. Fidnaaaaay" I asked my mama why they makin jokes about me and she sat me down to splain. Mama said we were all set to name you Sidney, but you came out so handsome, I couldn't decide if you really looked like a Sidney. I thought to myself there are all kinds of Sidneys in this world, I wanted my boy to be one of a kind. Uncle Farley was in the hospital room when I was talkin about this and he said "Why don't you name the boy Fidney?" And I thought Fidney, what a lovely name. So I'm proud to be called Fidney. I'm Fidney Joneson. If you don't like it you can stuff my wallabee.

Fidney is a great name! I've always felt a little lackluster, being named "Tom." Your name is bound to help you in your musical pursuits - It's easy to remember, and you won't get lumped in with all the other Fidneys.

Duane in the bath tub I'm Duowning. Doooane.. Dooowhat? Uncle Doo Doo.
I hated my first name until I realized Duane Allman had my name AND spelled it the same way!! Duane Eddie, there's another one. I think The Rock spells his name Duane also (not sure).
My mom named me Duane meaning "singing" Alan meaning "harmony". That shows how musically oriented my family was.
Now... Flock. That's a whole nother story. That's Flocked-up, Hey... "Meet The Flockers", hey Flock-You! My drill sgt. in the Army had a blast with that one!!
I'm stuck with it,...... enough so that I had to say Oh Flockit! So that's where my AKA came about.
