Oh he's obviously speaking the truth.
I was gonna post on the other thread,
I always liked "I put the she in shenanigans"
from the Tomato-Headed one...
anyway, Elton's right, American Radio is disposable,
playing disposable music.
Indie Music is America's Last Musical Hope.
For scary real.

I love Elton, but get fucking real. I hear more Led Zep on the radio than any other band and they are old farts.

Well, I am fucking real, Larree, I guarantee it!
As for the radio, I really don't listen to the radio much anymore...
It's all down hill since WNEW-FM died.
But that's New York radio,
so, I have no idea what they're playing out by you in Hollywood.
I think Elton though is more concerned with his new stuff can't
get a yawn on the radio today, there's still stations that'll
play his old classics...
The whole fucking music industry is ageist.
You don't know that shit?

Radio is of the past – it’s not relevant said Austin Kramer of Spotify
"The former SiriusXM staffer added: “Being from radio, it’s sad to say, but that’s really the truth of it."
I can attest to that statement, even though I still get spins on terrestrial radio and collect royalties.it's nothing like getting on streaming platforms. The streams I am getting every month is ridiculous. but we will see if it lasts

McCartney really got shafted on some of his recent singles off his New record. But he does a song with Kanye and that's a hit.
