Why do people follow the crowd?
I see it all the time online. If 3 people no matter who they are agree on something, a posse will form with all these hangers on. So many people don't think for themselves. What is it about human nature that makes humans so sure that the next guy is on the right track?

Humans by nature are social. The pack mentality is instinctual back to cave man where greater numbers gave greater chances of survival vs going out on ones own.
So once a trend becomes one it easily attracts more rather than inspire others to create new trends.

Whether it's a famous superheroine pretending to be a Dick.

Well, the world population basically doubles every 25 years..don't want to mention the countries which are responsible for it as it would put me to be a suspect..meaning I have two legs, two arms and most important a small brain
Nonetheless, to get to the point: there will never be a shortage of dumb, insane, characterless, mf, stupid, ignorant, horrifying, useless.people(sorry forgot that IMP will not let me post if I exceed 1 million characters....)
Still, nothing has changed, the dumb are more determined to govern the world, and the smart people have to prevent this from happening.
Hitler, Stalin, Bush, Assad, Putin are the ones dumb asses will follow.
I watched some ancient German movie last night which made me think about world war 1. What confuses me is that even google and the worldwide internet does not enable to find a single reason why this war took place...(weapons of mass destruction monkey boy... history repeats itself unfortunately.....and it always starts with the crowds)
So crowd followers shall go to hell and are not my friends, never will be.

We're all stupid to somebody. Guarantee ya. That cocky ant down there? He's stupid to some other ant.
Anyway, we all want to belong. I want to belong. I want to belong to a far superior being who thinks I'm pretty stupid but loves pets.
I'd never dispute my petmaster. It's not in my best interest.
There are certainly humans who don't mind being other people's pet, either.

looks exactly like an asshole, and that's probably the joke, haha....
couldn't be a cartoon character professor lookin' guy,
hadda be an asshole, asking such meaningful questions,
kinda cheapens the whole thing...
now if you'd called yourself "the Politician" and had this picture,
Now THAT I Could Understand.

do I announce that I may quit making
records at least for my own individual entities,
that I think up one,
and it's a weird combination,
of lofty self possessed terribly articulate McCartney-esque
mulling and musing about how keen and smart I am,
with a chorus which is a cross between,
Lennon, Cobain, and that really weird guy
who painted his face blue and sang or shouted "but I'm a Liar!"
and the song, which I envision,
would be, would be called "The Intellectual"
and the chorus, which I envision,
would go like so:
"I'm an ASSSSSHOLE
I'm an ASSSSSHOLE
Can you say ASS? Can you say HOLE?
I'm an ASSSSHOLE
ASSSSHOLE
ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHOLE."
All screamy and shouty and raucous for the chorus,
with little to no melody
and absolutely no redeemable musical value that I am aware of.
Probably be a big hit.
Then I could kill myself with an entirely clear conscience.
I may be kidding about that last part.
We'll see. Day's young.
I'm not, but the day keeps starting over, what is this shit anyway?
I'm kidding about killing myself, I already died, I'm already dead,
plus God told me I'm done when He says I'm done not when I say.
Okay okay, God.
Anyway, I got the idea, Oh Lofty Intellectual,
from your picture.
Which is, an asshole, which you not only know,
but have to have a sense of humor, in selecting in the first place.
"Wow, this sums me up perfectly!" and boom, there it is.
So, Folks,
the moral of the story is,
you don't have to be a brain to be an intellectual.
Just an asshole.
I'm just kidding,
I have no immediate plans to make such a record.
Though, the record I last put out,

That's cool.
Frank Zappa canonized that theme first, but I have no doubt
you did the righteous reprisal of it.
We should think about writing stuff, like, together,
since we're already joining forces to make records.
We may come up with stuff,
stuff so good, they cannot escape it.
