September; A tale of desire.
People are going to be who they are, not who we want for them to be. They can't give what they haven't got or what they don't feel. We can't squeeze water from a rock, or bend a mature tree. Or can we force someone who doesn't love, to love back, no matter how much we love and is good to them.

That is the lesson in September. It is not delivered in those words but that is the bottom line.
It is another lyric taken from a collection of poems I wrote and published back in 2015 called "The Cry Of Our Children."

The Fellow who composed the music and sings it is from Venezuela. He sings with a bit of an accent. I was not going to up load it but for the work that he put into this piece it deserves to be heard.

hi Ruth,

What a charmin', evocative song, w groovy piano riffs, and the catchy chorus "september, september woo woo woo, woo woo woo.'

Ace storytellin' also, "starts with a samba beat, and horn section, the south-of-the-border vibe, marimba or big band, and fun lyrics, fun song, w humor, stellar lyrics, cheers..." morning music station

au revoir for now,

Steve
