Another topic here today got my thinking onto She Said She Said, so I perused YouTube and found after, for startings, this best one of the song.

I'll be adding more best renderings of various classics over next coming hours and days.

My favorite ever cover of any kind is also of a Beatles song.

On first several listens found no flaw in this "The Beatles - Rain" cover by Saltwater Roses.

I tend to be more impressed by interpreters with unique arrangements than copycats who get all the parts right. But I can appreciate a good tribute band sometimes.

I always found it amazing how Sly took that white bread Doris Day tune and made it one of the most soulful tracks known from far and wide. That whole album is great.

Kind of like when Otis Redding did a cover of Try a Little Tenderness. Far as I know,, his version is the only one that counts now.

Yeah, the Otis Redding version is the one! And truth on Sly!

Well, I'll tell you what I think is the best performance in this post.

And it's that girl's photograph. Holy Cow.

I did a real good "She Said She Said" ... second to most recent BEATLESEX record
as of the time of this post.

That said.

Seriously,

the girl in this photo, Liesl is it? Enchanted, to be sure.

You look at her, you go "Oh, I see, God. This is what you do when you're
not clowning around making the likes of the rest of us."

Holy Moly. You're so pretty I wanna rip myself in two,
and then the two of me can fight it out over you. Gazow. Heaven help me.

God Love You.
