On the microcosmic level (what we personally experience)...of course it matters greatly. Just as the smell of some scent on an ant trail would matter tremendously to an ant that was responsible for some fraction of responsibility for feeding the colony. To that ant, so very micro to what we experience as humans (we are a collection of antlike beings, each feeding to the collective experience, which is different from the individual experience) it is very very important.
To the macroscopic experience, we are all a feed to the cosmic consciousness, something that does exist.
Out of swirling dust, out of billions of years of star decays forming ever more complex elements, came we. We are the conscious experience, the highest result of the accumulation of interactions resulting from the Beginning of the Universe.

And, fleeting thoughts, viewed on the microscopic level, are very very important to the macroscopic level, the level of God The Universe. So, it matters...not because it doesn't matter much at the microscopic level (us) but at the macroscopic level (God The Universe) because it is part of an accumulation (of us). It's sort of like a database. When there are so much data pointing to some conclusion, it matters.
I think the take-a-way is to not be negative input to the accumulation, but strive to be a positive one.
This is so trite, it's fucking trite. Jeez.

I play games with ants, put things in their way, plops of soil, sand, crap, they get confused for awhile like us humans, they persevere and carry on, find a way to their destination. life it is not so hard. if you keep it fun. be like an ant, work hard, feed your family ,find a way around problems

When I wuz a kid, I used a magnifying glass on ants. To fry their asses. It was fun, as a preteen, to watch the smoke rise. Besides, they POPPED. WOW. Today, I spray the crap out them with a chemical spray that clogs their respiritory systems even more than mine (which, I can't stand inhaling ant spray).
If I were a Christian, I'd consider that I were going to Hell for that.
As not one, I feel sorry for them. But I still strive to keep them out of the cornflakes.
I just consider myself a datum, I guess.

a kid I knew would catch frogs, stick a straw up their bums , blow them up, sorry, guys are mean,
I knew a guy , he would go fly fishing on his boat, but actually he put drano in bread roll it up ,stick it on the end of the hook, cast it out and the seagulls would come and get the bread and blow up,
This is a true story as well. Up in the lumber camps in the 30s there be huge crews, lots of potatoes and apples get peel, bears sometimes would get to the trash and gorge themselves, then drink water, and you guessed got bloated and blew up , gory sight, from old timer who lived way up in the cariboo of BC

Here's what chemistry students know: For some reason, Caesar's dying breath, his last exhalation, has become a classic teaching tool in high school and college. When Caesar exhaled, he released an enormous number of "breath" molecules, mostly nitrogen and carbon dioxide. That's what they say.
If you look around the Internet, you will find professors who say we take in three of Caesar's molecules per breath, or eight, or 10. It all depends on your assumptions about the size of a breath, the size of the atmosphere, the location of the breather (on a mountain, or at sea level?)

Even though these calculations apply to any breath exhaled long ago — Shakespeare's, Cleopatra's, Lincoln's, your great-great-grandma's — you may still want to take a moment today to share with Caesar. Just breathe in and share his molecule.

Plus, think about the fact that we daily receive photons that have traveled billions of light years over billions of years only to interact, as their final act, with the molecules of our bodies, some unrecognized, colliding with and imparting their energy to us, some recognized in some manner by interacting with the receptors in our eyes, which are built to receive them.
They permeate us, along with various other packets of energy, in uncounted and uncountable numbers, even from their release in the very birth of our Universe.
And this is only what we know to be true. There are so very many connections that we don't yet know.

We do have geniuses here at IMP, music, poetry, prose, lyrics, people who can weave magic. Now only if we could harness that magic with respect and consideration instead of one up manship and trying to outdo one another, and name calling , there is no need for that behavior. Now we can do whatever we want, act however we want, although it does IMP no favors if we look like donkey kong numb nuts to people who come here and read, well utter nonsense and brain splatter.
Now if we want success, and I mean real success, we would treat each other with common decency and consideration. It takes a change of heart to do so, and from my perspective and evaluation, that seems pretty difficult to accomplish. But it can be done. We each have unique and amazing gifts, lets just get along, and take things in stride and not get so bent out of shape or offended and whip out our knives to defend ourselves. man up, act properly and show respect. Do you ever wonder why there is not much interaction with more participants here, now dont preach to me and say there is, it is always the same inmates, who display complete disregard for others and this is so apparent at times it is hard to take.
Why do no women participate here, because some of us act like jackasses and spout out whatever we feel like. The Male reptilian brain takes precedence and all hell breaks loose, knee jerk reactions.
I think it is high time that we show respect and just get along, some like to get edgy, taunt, look for a fight, that is juvenile and kid stuff, lets set ourselves on a path that can raise the level of awareness, and raise the quality of discussion and raise the flag of IMP and have it wave proudly for all to see.
Yes , we have some amazing people who congregate here and sure we have differences of opinion and ideas, that does not mean we can say rude and disrespectful hurtful things , although some of us have really thick skin like reptiles and dinosaurs or elephants and nothing pricks us, but for new people, new artists, new visitors, what do you think they are saying to themselves if they see what goes on here.
Some of us need to take a step back and just cool our jets.

Yes, Bryon, I appreciate the new song "Owl" being added to your station. Actually, I was a bit amazed, because I didn't mention to anyone that I had put up new material, and then I got on EYE, and the next day the song got on Eve's station (never got on one of her stations before), and also on FEATURED and another place.
So it's all a big honor to me, and that is first mix done on our new album called Wooden Soul, and you kind of confirmed what I feel, it's going to surpass all our other work.
For the first time in my long musical journey the recordings are coming out with the power I thought they could have.
