On the run by Byron Tosoff
Two Silo Complex had the privilege to work with piano and keyboard master Byron Tosoff.
Byron is so humble but he is truly amazing on keys. Byron has his song “on the run” on the review channel. I offered to try to do a drum part for the song and Byron was kind enough to let me give it a try. Byron’s song is just cool and funky. This song has an odd tempo so I used a minimal drum to only accent Byron’s cool synth. I tried a tom fill at 1:15 but kept doing it off time so it did not make the final cut.
I enjoyed working with Byron on the song and was happy to see that he allowed the version with the updated drum track to be heard. Thank you to Byron for letting me play on your song. I hope we can work together on future joint efforts.
For anyone new who does not know Byron he is a tireless promoter and flawless performer and just a classy guy all around. He brings so much to this site with his experience.

I want to double what TSC has stated.
Bryon has worked with me and offered me to play on quite a few of his songs. All of which I have been honored to do so. Bryon has also blessed me with some great keys on some of my tunes too. We let each other know what we want, and then let our creativeness take over. No money is ever mentioned although I have offered to pay Bryon many times before. It's always been a gentlemen's agreement to help another Indie artist with respect of each others abilities.

Well you can add me to the list if we're talking about how cool Bryon is. We're collaborating on a great tune of his It's Time with Duane Flock - another great IMP artist. Finally, after months of putting our studio back together we have the capability to actually record vocal tracks!! (haha it's been a nightmare) So looking forward to adding that to the great keys and guitars!

Well I think all of you Dolores, Duane, Byron are very good individually and I can't wait to hear the combo platter song with all of you involved.
Any hint of when that might be ready Shoe city?

Ken,
I recently sent Dolores a Bass track and a couple of rhythm guitar tracks to choose from or even use both in the mix. I think she still has vocals to do and some mixing. I offered to add a lead track if needed. I'd like to do the lead fills after the vocals are in so I don't step on the vocals.
Dolores will do the final mix and master. She's directing, I'm contributing. But the wait will be worth it.

Thanks LyinDan : ) appreciated! this is what I did last year, I am sure the song will be a whole lot better then what I did with it.and looking forward to what Dolores, shoe city sound and duane flock have done with it, with dolores wonderful groovin vocals, Shoe City sound engineering and production and Duane's killer guitar chops.it is certain to have a great flavor and enhancement all its own, thanks for your energy and willingness to cover it, should be a hip happening groove.

Thanks for your confidence in us Bryon - we've been in the studio all day - it sure is taking on a life of it's own! Duane's guitar tracks add a whole new dimension. We've never had anyone cover anything of ours, so I can't imagine what it feels like to hear your own music done differently. No pressure for you to like, but I sure hope you do. It's a great song and we're having a blast working on it :)
