"HELLO, I'M JOHNNY CASH" - one of three songs from debut album "NO LOOKING BACK" selected for compilation CD in Canada
Three songs from my debut CD album "NO LOOKING BACK" have been selected to be included on a new compilation CD currently being put together and featuring Canadian Indie artists.
The songs that have been selected are my award winning song, "HELLO, I'M JOHNNY CASH" (currently # 3 on the IAC MUSIC and CASHBOX COUNTRY CHARTS), "YOU JUST TURNED MY LIFE AROUND" featuring Paula Tessaro sharing lead vocals with me (see our IAC Music Artist Page - Neil w Young & Paula Tessaro), and "NO LOOKING BACK" - the title track of the album and currently # 17 on the IAC MUSIC COUNTRY CHART.
The CD is dedicated to assisting and promoting a new program called "STOP THE VIOLENCE" supported by the efforts of the following three Ontario based charitable organizations:
VICTIM SERVICES PROGRAM OF TORONTO, the only agency in Toronto providing immediate on-site crisis, trauma, safety and support services to victims of crime and/or sudden tragedies.
METRAC, offering a unique violence prevention program for youth.
THE ARGOS FOUNDATION - STOP THE VIOLENCE, encouraging grassroots support, business sponsorship and the active participation of communities, schools and government.
