Maybe so, But I wish I wrote " Just the way you are" its a great Tune.... The others are a little too sappy.

"Feelings" certainly is #1 wussiest, but I bet it made the most money. I do like "Just the way you are."
Michael Bolton sang some sappy songs but I can't remember what they were. I've completely blocked them out of my mind. I really wish he would change his look. He's milked that look to death. It's just not working for him anymore. deb

I can hearJust The Way You Are a well written song f'sure-but i'm not that keen on it-Its a little too smug n self-satisfied for its own good
Sometimes when We Touch and seperate ways are awful and 'Can't Smile Without You' is toe-curlingly twee (tho sometimes i like twee-but not here)
This is ultra wussy admitedly-but its genuinelly pretty and i like it..
Lady In Red by Chris De Burgh is wussy and i loathe it
I'm comfortable with my inner wuss-Songs like How Could I Fall In Love(with you?) and I Know A Good Thing could be considered wussy but thats ok ;)

by the king-pin wuss: Leo Sayer: When I Need Love.. ha ha
here's some o the lame lyrics, burned into my memory banks,
unfortunately....
When I need love
I hold out my hand
and I touch love
I never knew there
was so much love...(ok, get ready for the last
clincher line, cuz here it comes...)....
Keepin me warm night and day. (gag, gag, gag)...ha ha ha

well and what about Austrian "Schlager" songs (i.e. popular music with terrible, over-saturated harmonies, just sliming down the HiFi-speakers, trumpets & violins & all the fuss)
"Heerzileeeeeeein, Du musst nicht so traaurig seeein"
(please don't read further, because here comes the translation:
"my little hearty, ya don't need to be so saaad" (with a melody compared to which the "love boat" theme sounds like trash metal)

Seasons in the Sun - not that terrible.
Achy Breaky - certainly cringy. I suppose that qualifies
Muskrat Love by Capt. and Tenille - definitely
Leo Sayer - Yes
Hitchin a Ride - I only remember the chorus of that one.
Puppy Love was a remake of an oldie, not sure we can count that one.
I Wanna Know What Love Is has to be on the list, sheesh I hate that song.
Don't diss Dolly!
Kenny Rogers' The Gambler is cringy but i'm not sure if it's wussy.
I can't remember Lady In Red.
I've Never Been To Me. yuck, yes
Angel in the Morning I can tolerate.
Country songs might need their own category. :D

I Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In - Kenny Rogers
See You In September - ?
Evergreen - Barabara Streisand (comparing love to an easy chair - ugh!)
High Hopes - Frank Sinatra (I love him but hate this song!)
Tonight's The Night - Rod Stewart ("spread your wings and let me come inside??

Larree- no I mean this turkey by The Happenings,
"See You In September"
I'll be alone each and every night
While you're away, don't forget to write
Bye-bye, so long, farewell
Bye-bye, so long
See you in September
See you when the summer's through
Here we are (bye, baby, goodbye)
Saying goodbye at the station (bye, baby, goodbye)
Summer vacation (bye, baby bye, baby)
Is taking you away (bye, baby, goodbye)
Have a good time but remember
There is danger in the summer moon above
Will I see you in September
Or lose you to a summer love
(counting the days 'til I'll be with you)
(counting the hours and the minutes, too)
Bye, baby, goodbye
Bye, baby, goodbye
Bye, baby, goodbye (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
Bye, baby, goodbye (bye-bye, so long)
Have a good time but remember
There is danger in the summer moon above
Will I see you in September
Or lose you to a summer love
(I'll be alone each and every night)
(While you're away, don't forget to write)
See you (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
In September (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
I'm hopin' I'll
See you (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
In September (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
Well, maybe I'll
See you (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
In September (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
But let's not forget about "Cherish" by the Association

"Come Sail Away" by Styx is pretty wussy if you ask me. The wussiest song of all time has to be" Lips of an Angel" by Hinder. That song makes me want to shoot myself.

Just passing through. Later.

I used to change around the lyrics on all of those wussie songs.......
Kinda like Wierd Al would do.
Ex: It's So Nice To Be With You
became: It's So Nice To Puke On You
Ex: 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover
became: 50 Ways To Bust A Rubber
Hysterically, some of that shit actually fit without changing much at all!!
