It's pure Midwest power pop. Plain and simple. Gritty guitars, big hooks, harmonies, and handclaps. Think The Knack, Cheap Trick, Material Issue, and that ilk.
I think it's the best song of this type that I've ever written.
Nothing fancy about it, just power pop.
