I think the links on IAC review channel are supposed to be to the song on IAC not directing traffic to sound cloud.
It was a good demo quality production and had good feeling in the song.
To me the song lacks low end the bass frequencies very low (meaning pushed back in the mix). Drums also a little bit far back in the mix. Drums sounds very fake and electronic. Maybe look into ez-drummer it has good quality loops.
Guitar and vocal sound good but I don't think they are at the right levels.
I do like the song I think the mix needs work but a good effort.

Thanks TSC!! great ear! We did the mix ourselves so it could be better AND the drums were recorded live but we did a poor job at inception so I had to change all of the drums to MIDI by painstakingly going through and matching them up beat by beat. The overhead miss were the only thing we were able to use so the cymbals that you hear are real drums. I think you've convinced me to push us to pay to record in a professional studio for our second album. Gonna be expensive so I'll start saving now.

You don't need a professional studio. I also once believed that. What you need is a good ear and patience to do it yourself.

These songs I did in my "studio" with no professional gear at all. My guitar I play cost me 45 dollars at a second hand store. My mic is a standard sm57 beta no special expensive mic.
I have a 2 track porta studio record all my tracks on then import to pro tools HD.
If you have decent raw wav files I can arrange to mix and produce them for you at a small cost compared to what you will pay at a local studio.
If your interested send me an ARTIST mail on my page and I will tell you how to send me the files and I will do a sample for you for free.

Don't listen to any of this. It's all complete and utter bullshit.
Your music is good, That is the bottom line. Very good. The above nitpicking is not useful at all, forget it.
The only thing that track needs is mastering.

Well Done Gents!, Great feel to this song. Very good melodic feel for me. Just listened to it at work on my small speaker Rig. Can't wait to get home to my Big Rig.
I enjoyed it very Much. Good performance!

I loved this song. Great lyrics and wonderful music, Tgere were a feww level issues that can easily be resolved with a remix. But overall, this was perfect for my taste. Looking forward to hearing more of your work.

I don't see why you want to make it your personal mission to "nit pick" mine
my comments are my opinion and if you don't agree with them I don't much care. You could at least don't get in my way of trying to help other artists achieve better results .

I thought the song was quite good. The artificial drums didn't bother me, but I do feel like the overall sound of things gets a bit messy in certain parts where a lot is going on at once. Aside from that I didn't have much issue. Your voice has a unique charm to it, which I appreciate, and I also enjoyed the creative mixture of sounds/instrumentation. I'm surprised you haven't put this one on IMP. It would be a nice addition.
