The music here is top notch! Wish I could say the same about the vocals but I was a bit disapointed with them. They They sound a bit weak and incompatible with the music verses at time. But the drums are killer here. Also, the guitar work is freaking awesome!. I would give this a 10 if not for the vocal gaffs. Everything else is perfect in my estimation.

Much Respect,
Stoneman

Stoneman, thanks for your comments!
We agree, especially about the vocals. They could be a lot better but we are willing to forgive ourselves since this was our bass player's first vocal performance ever.
And as always, no practice was involved :D

This is a fun one! This one, like many others, is energetic and enthusiastic, but unlike most is actually well executed. There's a drum section here that's particularly great. I agree about the vocals, they are a bit goofy sounding. But I greatly enjoyed the p-p-p-p-pokerface suddenly popping up. I also like the suddenly plodding ending.

Thanks for your kind words, Jamie!

This is how we roll. All ideas are entertained, and everything we finally do will be implemented to the best of our limited skills and capabilities.

Hello Underdogs why are you furious?

you got a good sound over all and we liked that flange on the bass in the beginning.

Though the vocals quality was not all together it was done in a humorous way the bubbly bits and yodeling gave us a hoot.

We like your sound and we call it nifty gritty if you don't mind us sayin' so.

Hank
Ps when we was growin up and went to town sometimes we saw the cartoon underdog and those are fond memories so thank ya.

Hank,
glad to hear we helped you to have a good day ;)
We are getting to sound better every day we work on our music and similar (but different!) musical mismatches are already on the working table - we mix together anything from HC-punk to 70's disco.
We should practice a lot more often, especially singing.

There is a reason we are furious. We, or at least I, are politically aware and hate the direction Finland has taken. Neoliberalism is one thing far-right movements with racism, violence and other disgusting phenomenos they bring another.
We are against all that shit!
(and our song Viking Crusaders is a satire about one street patrolling fascist group)
One half, that is my half, of our lyrics is mostly serious and the other half... Yep, I guess you already know that half :D
So we do stand on the same side as the society underdogs.
Simple as that.
And there are many more explanations for the name!

-Izzy Underdog, which is of course not my real name-

I love this track and I agree with others who felt the drums and guitars were stellar.
The whole endeavor is so quirky and unique. I disagree somewhat with what was said about the vocals. I think that for a punk song, they were perfectly adequate and in fact they would sound even better if they were louder and more aggressive but the wacky sound of them is totally appropriate for nature of the song.

Richard, I am so glad you liked it!
We already agreed today that the vocals will be re-recorded when we remix ALL our songs sometime next autumn. The singer of this song agrees with you, dear listeners, that the vocals could be a lot better. His main issue about this is actually the same as Richard's, the vocals are shy and too cautious and next time he will shout them thru.

Are you ready for our new song? Here it is:
Full Pint of Minced Meat
