Furious Underdogs : Full Pint of Minced Meat
G'day, friends!
Our song L.G.P. is already #2 in the Punk chart, but we guess that says more about the appreciation and lack of listeners of punk than our music.

Anyway, this one was just as fun to make as L.G.P., which actually is this single's B-side. Or would be if we'd make a oldtimer vinyl single. Now they are just numbered #1 and #2 wherever they are released together.

Sort of organized chaos. Didin't understand much about this song musically or lyrically. But I must say that the drummer is getting his licks in. Also, that was a very strange ending. What does it all mean? What was it about? These are the things that songwriters must make easy to decipher. Instead, this seemed to be a bunch of mishmash about nothing. Sure, I could go in deep and detect the inner nuances and themes of this But, I shouldn't have to. So, I won't. You guys have done much better work than this. Of course, that's just my opinion which probably means little. But I say what must be said according to me.

Much Respect,
Stoneman

Stoneman,
thanks for listening and thanks for your opinions!

As you did notice, this one is not (and is not meant to be) an "easy listening" song and definitely not easy to digest. So, this is about as far as a song can be from singer/songwriter -approach and the vocals are just a "mandatory" element.

This one, as many of our songs, is heavily based on bass & guitar riffs and licks and some unconventional rhythms, there are some wicked polyrythms going in 3/4:s, 4/4:s and 5/4:s, all based on the verse and intro riff.
I wanted this to sound even more raw, more like hardcore or skate punk with more punch, but there are limitations. We found our bass player's speed limit here and it is 210 bpm with straight 1/8-note riffs :D So, final version turned out to be a fast punk rock song.

And the lyrics which also explain the noises in the end? The main lyric theme is
"Have you ever thought about masturbating, mince and mince at the same time? Neither have we."
The ending noise is supposed to be an electric mincer, but it actually is a coffee grinder.

Well, I am already sure you will like our next 3-song EP a lot more than this. It will be something different once again.
