young back then
YOUNG BACK THEN, -BRYON TOSOFF

Did this a few years ago, it is an instrumental, kinda an old style 60s vibe, never intended it at all to have vocals with it, primarily set out to have it strictly an easy listening song of vocals ,it is very upbeat and uplifting. have had other musicians comment on how a fun listening tune it is, it has been to radioland with minimal success.
Young Back Then

cheers and thanks for the listen

Very Pop oriented. That bass line was the first clue of where this was going. Like those piano comps. Good dynamics and a strong steady drum beat. This would also work with vocals but you would have to add a bridge in order to break it up a bit. But it is fine just the way it is. I Like It!

Much Respect,
Stoneman

This reminded me of early Springsteen. I half expected him to start singing.

It's a big sound you're getting, you play in quite a few varied styles.

Thanks for the feedback guys, yeah, I could have done a bridge like you suggested Stoneman, and maybe should have, but figured a throwback style and theme based thing that just grooved there like some early days way back. it is simple, but energy driven and fun Stoneman, appreciate your ideas and taking some time to listen. Lyrics, well I did at one time entertain lyrics and in fact I had someone write some, just did not work out. So Bobby D, thanks for the swing by and giving it a check out. Springsteen, ha, really ,thanks, it does have a big sound, turned out well. I grew up doing the whole classical thing and during my early teens did some playing in a couple bands, and later on blues country rock groups, and went on to do jazz. so yeah, i have a lot of influences. thanks for recognizing that ..cheers
