This was a live take.do vocals and piano. used a couple mics, a couple amps each side of the room, and recorded with an ZOOM H2 an Zoom Q3 , loaded up into software and thats it

The first chords reminded me of "Imagine"

Nice vocal. Great keyboard playing. A little sparse but still good.

Vocal could be EQed different, it sounds somewhat like it's coming out of a tunnel.

Overall it's a good composition, reminds me of a cross between Elton and Chicago's Terry Kath.

I agree that imagine came to mind. It would be advantageous to get the vocal track on there better. Its hard to hear. It's really good piano work!! reminds me of a song within a musical. Better recording technology would make a world of difference.

I agree, pretty obviously Lennonesque piano. I do think it's kinda lazy, because I happen to know you can do better :) (So could John, a bit. So, I don't know why I'm deducting for this, I just am, because I'm hearing this better, and I'm sure you are

I do really like it overall. For a couple of Zooms, I understand the recording. I have an H2 myself.

When it reaches the midpoint solo, I do like the piano solo, but I understand it's just a naked take.

It's basically a good toon. I think, and I know you do, it can be done better, technologically speaking.

I listened.
I love the chord structure.
I assumed it was a musical sketch from the idea book, so I won't critique the recording.
I love it's simple but not so simple-ness.
