Take a prism to separate white light - Roy G. Biv petal colors, petals that will be pulled out one after one with the fervent gusto of an adolescent infatuation while recanting the lines She loves me. She loves me not. What random distribution love is when thought of through a repetitive finite repetition lense. Is that what flowers say?

Rainbow to Your Heart
Let me have a small space of you,
That I can keep here next to me.
Into this space, I’ll place a color,
And exchange it frequently.
First, I’ll mix and paint this space Red,
To remind me of your heart,
Next, I’ll mix and paint this space Orange,
Your trusting is a start.
Is that what flowers say?
She loves me not
She loves me
Is the Rainbow to your heart.
Yellow tells a sunny tale,
That reminds me of your face.
Green, so verdant and alive,
It simply fills the place.
Is that what flowers say?
She loves me not.
She loves me.
Is the Rainbow to your heart.
(Break)
Next I will mix and paint this space,
Until everything’s dressed up in Blue.
Then I’ll Red it down to Indigo,
Just to see how it looks on you.
Purple as befits a royal Queen Violet,
Is that what flowers say?
She loves me not.
She loves me.
Is the Rainbow to your heart.
Flowers say, . . .
Mark Holman
