Lamark ""CHOSEN"" Butler was born in Port Chester, New York on January 16th 1983 and grew up in Richmond / Amelia Va. Growing up in Virginia, Chosen became a star basketball player. Chosen began too realize that basketball wasn't his true passion, music was his ultimate dream. So he began to chase that dream and became 1 of the best MCs in his area. He was influenced by a handful of local artists that gave him the drive and motivation to stand out amongst other artist. By his senior year of high school ; Chosen's focus was mainly music and very little on basketball, and shortly after he graduated he linked up with the same local artist he looked up to and formed a group called Va Frontline.. During the 6 years with Va Frontline they made alot of moves up and down the east coast. They had features with Bone Crusher, Oj The Juiceman, and few other collaborations. In 2010 the group split ways and became a solo artist. Chosen put out 3 mixtapes and did alot of local shows. In 2013 he got into acting, and did a stage play called ""Turning Over A New Leaf"" , which was a sold out event. Short after he got into movies and played as the bad guy in NoPlanB2 , which was a independent film that sold out the theaters. In 2015 Chosen landed a contract with local Comcast cable station for his own mini TV series called ""FRIENEMY"" which was filmed in Richmond Va. Aired from August 14th - September 11th.. Then got extended time to December 18th.. He also filmed Frienemy the movie which is on YouTube now. Early 2016 Chosen released a record Ft. Trey Songz which he is currently pushing and he is scheduled to release""Frienemy 2"" the movie summer of 2016 in select movie theaters in Richmond Va. Chosen is a man of many hats. Artist, engineer, writer, director, and brilliant business man. This is why we call him ""Chosen"". Now he's going harder than ever with his new hit single MidNight
