I’m a singer/songwriter who was born in Virginia Beach but moved to North Carolina when I was six- though the beach will always be my home. I picked up a guitar at age 12 and have taught myself since. I’m a christian and a firm believer in Jesus Christ for he has blessed me with the talent of music. Note though, this is not a christian band and I’m not trying to push my views on anyone, I don’t believe in labels and stereotypes, but I love Christ with all my heart.
I’ve been writing lyrics for the longest time, my favorite part of song writing. People often ask me where I get my ideas for my lyrics. I’ve never kept a journal, never could be consistent with it: ). The songs that I write are my "journal", my "diary". I sing what is in my heart, what I’m feeling, it’s therapeutic in a way to relieve the stress/heartache or to really express how happy I am. What’s also amazing about it is that there are so many of you that can relate to how I’m feeling and to my songs. I hope that it can help you as they (the songs) have helped me. My dream is just to play in front of an audience and have them sing back to me, where I can step from the mic and let the fans take it away.
It’s all of you, the fans, that are the reason all musicians get as far as they do. I’m not here for the fame or the glory- I’m here to provide music for your listening pleasure and hopefully helps provide a way to channel what you’re feeling into song, whether it’s going through a tough break up, finding new love, or wanting to show your love how much you care and love her/him.
