RONNY MORRIS RECORDS FIRST STUDIO ALBUM

Ronny Morris spent a year producing the album “Sweet Silence”, and the music has already been featured on television shows such as “The Ghost Whisperer”, “One Tree Hill” and "Brothers & Sisters".

The album is the result of an incredible personal journey. A career in media production ended for Ronny in 2001, when a tumultuous year pulled the rug out from underneath him. Getting himself back on track took the next five years of his life, and a new courage to face his fears head-on.

With a conscious decision to live each moment to the fullest, Ronny was pushed to let go of the past and focus on songwriting. His music offers a glimpse into the shadows of his mind during his most turbulent times, and the subsequent journey into greener pastures.

Working with producer Adam Kviman, engineer Brian Sperber, mixer Steve Thompson, chief mastering engineer Ted Jensen, and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Morris offers an album that reflects one man’s resolve to view himself with a critical eye and put his exceptional talent to work to present the imperfections he finds into something pure, and beautiful.

I'll Survive
Songwriters often find solace in their music, and that’s just what California musician Ronny Morris has done with his entertaining and emotionally driven song, “I’ll Survive.” This song is honest, painful, and uplifting all at the same time. It’s strange how that works. I guess that’s the beauty of the art of songwriting. At first listen, you may hear a simple radio-friendly ballad reminiscent of some old Tom Petty. Quickly, that develops into something more unique and interesting. “I’ll Sur

ONLINE REVIEW:

The online site www.listenersgeneration.com has written a review of the Ronny Morris track "Ill survive"!! played at Myspace. Please follow the link below to see the review in its full length.

("At first listen, you may hear a simple radio-friendly ballad reminiscent of some old Tom Petty. Quickly, that develops into something more unique and interesting. "I'll Survive" is quite commercially accessible, but it's a type of accessibility that I didn't expect. How can a song so personal work so well in this format?")

VIEWS FROM ONLINE MUSIC FORUM:

E.L.O. WOULD BE PROUD OF THIS...

WOW... NICE MELLOW INTRO (THE BACKWARDS SYNTH AT FIRST IS VERY EAR-CATHCHING AND PERFECTLY BRIEF), VERY VERY JOHN LENNON. COOL SYNTH PADS, XLNT MIX. FINE USE OF DYNAMICS. VERY EMOTIONAL LYRICS. REMINDS ME OF A GREAT POP WRITER I HEARD ON G.B. FROM CANADA. THIS IS A GREAT SONG. WONDERFUL ARRANGEMENT. LOVE THE WAY IT BUILDS LAYER UPON LAYER, STRINGS UPON KEYS UPON STRINGS... MAJESTIC INSTRUMENTATION. JEFF LYNNE FROM E.L.O. WOULD BE PROUD OF THIS... SPECTACULAR EFFORT...
THERE'S HOPE FOR POPULAR MUSIC YET !!!!

pop perfection

this a great production. the lead vocals are very good this vocalist has a distinct tone that etches itself on you conscience. the lyrical content is probably the strongest i have heard on garageband. everything about this arrangement is perfect. it has a great build up that just drags you along with it. the layers all build up beautifully, layers that completely polish this song.

COMING VIDEO SHOOT:

If you are anywhere Tunisia next week you should maybe be looking for something more than the Starwars locations and the Sahara bed. Ronny Morris and the great Photographer and video director Thomas Fryd are shooting what will be the first video for the track "Still" taking from the forth coming album Sweet Silence.

There’s a great spirit within the group before leaving for Africa next week and the storyline for the video is simply fantastic. We can tell you this much, that the video will take you on a journey and show you some of the most remote places in Tunisia.

We hope to show you some of the first clips here on FACEBOOK later this month plus a special web greeting from Morris and more.

Untill then, Stay positive!
