Born on the last day of the first week of the second half of the year 1985 to the youngest SWA Defence force Captain & a youthfull decendant of the Kaptein of the Baster Community in Rehoboth, Namibia. Sharing the same family tree as the first person to protest the South African Apartheid rule of the then South West Africa & a direct decendant of four of the five elders who decided to lead their people out of South Africa at the turn of the 19th century, LY was born to have a wandering spirit.
Allways choosing to play by himself as a child, he was granted with the fruitfull imagination that later on shimmered through in his essays at school. With an above average IQ he was a favourite for most of the teachers that was a part of his Primary Education. Earmarked for becoming the headboy of his Highschool before moving from Rehoboth to Walvis Bay a year before his matriculation, he immediately fitted into his new suroundings & it is at this point that his interest in hip hop was increased to later embed itself in his poetry.
Born to be a rebel, born to be a leader, born to be a Nomad & born to be a Poet.
