P. Hux is a three piece rock band fronted by Parthenon Huxley on guitar and vocals and featuring Gordon Townsend on drums and Dan Rothchild on bass. Together since 1994, their debut album P. Hux Deluxe was voted 1995 Album of the Year by Audities Magazine. Purgatory Falls followed a few years later and has been described as a mix between the best parts of Lennon and McCartney. Purgatory Falls was recently picked up by Universal. The new P. Hux album, Everything's Different Now will be released in 2006.
In addition to their work with P. Hux, Parthenon and Gordon joined Electric Light Orchestra Part II a few years back. The band tours the world playing classic ELO hits and new material written by Parthenon. This summer ('06) the band will visit Russia and Denmark before assaulting the UK for 25 mostly sold out shows.
Parthenon has also released two live solo albums. Both were recorded at ""living room"" shows in Los Angeles. They are titled Live In Your Living Room and P. Hux In Your Parlour.
Before forming P. Hux, Parthenon recorded for Columbia Records under his full name, releasing the album ""Sunny Nights"" which Rolling Stone Magazine called ""a monumental debut.""
