Where will we go from here?
We've been around for a little over a year. As a group we've done a lot of growing during this time. While we haven't entirely settled on a sound for ourselves we're closer to it than we were at the beginning - although we get bored so easily I'm not sure we'll ever TRULY have a specific sound.

Our debut full length album is finished and our CD release party is on March 25th. We've made a good impression on the local scene in the short time we've been around but we have big hopes for this album. We're getting air time on a decent number of radio stations and we're getting some media attention which is nice. We managed to book our CD release party at the 2nd best venue in the cities and we're playing with some amazing bands. It's going to be an absolutely huge show and hopefully a very memorable night for all in attendance. Only time will tell if the night will live up to our expectations.

After the release of our album we plan on focusing more on out-of-town shows. We don't want to be one of those bands who makes it big locally and then just sort of gets trapped in that scene. We have bigger dreams than that. We don't want to me on MTV or anything (to do that you have to sort of stiffle your artistic aspirations some) but we would really love to be able to make a living doing what we love and not have to struggle financially. We don't want to be starving artists. We all realize the odds are stacked against us. Who knows what happens next?

just for my taste--i think your sound will really have legs (metaphor mixer on "frappe")--congratulations on your CD release. i would--probably will--pay money for it. i'm sure however you evolve will be worth paying attention to, so don't worry about your "specific" sound ... leave your doors and windows open and maybe catch what blows around. one-notes are a dime a bagful, and i rather like your variety. thanks for the great groove. :)
