New Song - One Man Show
Hey all,
This is Bob Maloney and this is the first new song that I put on this site since 2006. Back then my song "Reach for the Sky " hit number one on the Folk/Acoustic/Rock/Americana. (June 6, 2006)
That was a tremendous honor for me.
I have been busy working that day job so that my daughter can go to College in the Fall., but I am back writing songs and mixing them (that's the hard part fro me).
My new song is called One Man Show, and it was released last week. I prefer to call it a Bob Dylan style – story teller song.
It’s a bitter-sweet story of love found and love lost.
I put a capo on the 3rd fret, so the key was easier for me to sing in (the lower register). The vocal had a Dylan-like-timbre so I went with it..
There’s a casio synthesizer that I play on one of the tracks to get that harmonica effect to go along with the acoustic with capo.
Let me know what you think. (or just have a listen - it is quite catchy).
