American Fronted Beijing Rock Band Vital Time heading into the studio!
I've been in Beijing for almost 2 years now. I moved here to play the scene during the olympics. What I thought would be a short tour for my band Bad Apples has turned into what looks to be a long future in the Capitol of Rock N Roll in China.
In October of 2009 I met a Chinese guitarist by the name of Fei Zai who was interested in starting some type of new Rock N Roll project and weeks later we named the band Vital Time. Soon after we were on the lookout for the right Drummer and Bass player. After a long and tiring search and many try outs the search has finally come to an end with one of the best Rock Drummers in Beijing, and a bassist that is something very special playing an electric version of the Chinese instrument the Guqin.
I'll do my best to keep everyone updated on what is happening and will continue to upload demo tracks of our progress for anyone interested in following the band as we build our first album.
A few tracks are already posted here: http://www.iacmusic.com/michaeldallin, and we're here asking for your feedback and input. So any advice or opinions expressed will be very appreciated and may just help us as we build this Album into its final version.
