sleeper hooks in songs
I was working on a song last week, sent it to Neg Tendencies, and the guitar solo was real sloppy I recorded, our producer wasn't real happy with it. I rerecorded it and can't get it out of my head since, it was a real sleeper.
Ever have any parts like that that grew for you in songs you did?

see its not a special thing to a few, just a spacial cranial thing. its called playing around, noodling, experimenting, finding that right feel creativity. honing your craft, developing the groove. yo man keeping it happening..........music in the moment is magic tho

Yes, I live breathe and cannot get rid of almost every horn solo I do. Not sure why but, I memorize every single note and can usually sing the entire solo. It could be because horns (Sax and Trumpet ) were my first instruments. I started out in a marching band. Unfortunately, my lung capacity has dwindled with age but I still love to play and hear my horns. The horn parts always stick with me.
