How to create your own long-playing record (album) (DMD) for your page at IMP
ok this is something we provide that isn't utilized nearly enough. but it's a pretty unique thing that can only be found here.
Let me take you thru it step by step, assuming you have a batch of songs you'd like to package as a full length record.
Now let me just preface this by saying - no, indies do not sell a lot of albums outside of live shows, but you never know the fans you might pick up online. Christmas is coming eventually, maybe you might want to give one as a gift.
Log in to your artist area. The DMD stuff is upper left side, first column. "Commerce Area"
1. Add a paypal email to your payment profile so the funds go to the right place.
2. Click Create New Virtual CD (DMD) Here is where you name your record, decide on the price you're going to charge. Also fill out a short descrription that will show up on your buy page. The longer descript_ion goes with the package and also anything you put under credits will show up in the special liner notes section.
3. You can add a large bunch of images here also which are given to the buyer with the package. You also can pick and customize the colors on this page, experiment to get an ultrapage that looks good, you can preview it by going to
4. Next you go to Edit, or Add Tracks to, Virtual CDs. Here you slide over any songs you want to include and you can put them in order. Also if you want to make some tracks available for sample listens go to your All Songs Options Grid lower on the left column and checkmark the box for each song you want to do that with. Edit, or Add Tracks to, Virtual CDs page.
So what is an ultrapage? Well if you have lyrics on your song they will show up there, along with all the auxliary images you've added. Here's an example of a pretty good looking one.
It may come up small since it's a oretty huge image but if you click on it you can see it in full size.

5. Lastly tell all your fans and link them to your new full length record.
