announcement for station managers
Because of the amount of data involved and some support issues we faced, we determined that the stations just can't work as well when there are a ton of songs on them. From here on out there will be a limit of 400 songs per station, stations with more than that now can still operate though.

That makes sense - 400 is hard to manage anyway - I must go through mine and split them up a bit - the trouble is I love all the tracks I've added haha!!

thanks for this, I am checking the content on mine. and I know I have one which is a repository not used at all and it has a load, I will split it up and manage my other ones ,I see most have about 100 and I do cycle songs from one station to the other occasionally. Going to suss out the stations and clean them out, sort out the songs, transfer some to stations that dont have as many

I think the positive way at look at this is that there's so much good music on here, it's hard to contain it.

Wow, 400 is a lot, anyway! I couldn't imagine even having more than half of that on a station! Thanks, Scott!

Some of my stations go back 16 years. The one promise i did make is if you get on to my station your there forever. I would have to count

I'm with you, Paul(on there "forever"). What about the number of songs allowed on an Artist Page, Scott?(pretty sure I've tapped into the hundred there??) So, where do we "draw the line" on that?

I'd say that that is far and beyond an ample amount. 400 songs? Who has time to listen to 400 songs? Whomever it is, I envy that person. Much Respect Though, Stoneman

Agreed with Stoneman here, no one has the time to listen to 400 tracks. At most I'd say people might stream 10 to 20 tracks. That's why I randomize the track listing to most my stations on a daily basis. If you stream my stations on a daily basis you will probably hear different tracks on each day. Just my way of doing things. Makes sense to me.
