Yeah, FZ totally nails it. These stupid little hip fucktards have destroyed 'popular' music. Bring back the entrepreneurs and get rid of the fucktards!

If it had not been for guys like Clive Davis, Janus Joplin would never have been discovered. Today, talents like Janus would never be able to get a record deal.
Same goes for John Hammond. No Hammond, no Dylan. These guys were visionaries who took chances on artists who broke the mold. Now lawyers and corporate assholes try to "mold" artists.

Zappa is like the most forthright person i have heard maybe John Lennon comes close. Would be up there. You wonder why guitar sales are down a third. Clapton declaring the guitar is over.. Younger folk walking about in a daze glued to there phone. They have no time for such fripperies as learning an instrument. When u can rattle up a tune on your phone in no time if you had the inclination which most don't. Tech is ok but when it becomes an addiction maybe it's time to take a step back. I loved nothing more than filling a venue with people and giving them what they want. A wee bit of socialising singing along dancing along. That's all being replaced by tech. Which is driving people to abstraction because we are social people. A phone will never replace real interaction with another fellow. If you want to be trapped in a world where every interaction u do is logged and scrutinised. Even got face scanning now. Remember this you have to pay for this spying device. If someone said right i am going to give u a spying device to use and it will record everything u did for free would you take it?. No. But your willing to pay a thousand bucks for the same thing. For look at me value. I think these morons at silicon valley are living in a dream world. Goaded on by there own pretentionous we rule the digital world. I believe this digital revoulition will eventually settle down. Because quantum computer exists it has no limits like digital. It will change things as it is now in unforseen ways. Right now we are in a technological arms race. The tpb are rightly hugely scared of the future. It breaks the old dictates on how the world is run. The cannot keep up. They are trying to force everyone into a digital version which they can control.

I thought about hand held devices that like phones but connect in a different way using unused radio bands which by using short wave could go round the world. Every device is a node in the network with out any physical structure other than your device. This is old tech 100 years plus. Closest thing i can come to is a digital cb radio that looks like a phone it does all the side bands as well. Why do you think the governments keep such tight control of the radio spectrum. If it can transmit data without a meter they don't want to know.. I reckon it would be possible to make one with a rasperberry pi everything exists to make it happen. This ain't exactly new and fascinating future stuff it's old hat but not the corporations hats. So it';s al hushed up. Tesla who is he Maxwell another one. Car and a cup of Coffee

Exactly, Paul. Like, who wants to spend a lifetime learning guitar when you can push a few buttons on a stupid app and make real music? :D
