Psyche’s Muse
Well I was wandering around minding my own business when out of nowhere a sparkle hit my ears. This spark it ignited a vision in my eyes to that which I thought was long forgotten. It sent my stone dead heart back to a time when it beat fiercely with the roar of a lion.
As I listened to these messages of prophecy, I remembered the prophecy yet remained unfulfilled because somewhere along the way a long time ago now I fell. I fell so far and so long I could no longer see the sun all I felt was the cold earth caressing me and whispering in my ear. It was OK to submit to the darkness as it had become the only thing I knew.
Then along comes Psyche’s Muse with his tales, Telling stories and spinning yarns made of golden thread. He lifted me from my slumber gave me respite where there was none. The scales fell from my eyes and I saw once more who I once was, Not a haggard old man harboring sorrows and regrets wallowing in the corner of the past but instead one who still can hold the candle in the darkness. Even if it is but a flicker somewhere somehow the beacon shall not fail.
Psyche’s Muse I owe you a great debt this day one that I may never be able to repay but perhaps one day the prophecy will ring true and bring forth my true identity, Alpha-Omega
For I no longer walk as the battered and bruised. I walk with a purpose. The only thing I can say is thank you and I know its not enough.

I'm a big Psyche's Muse fan myself - especially my fav song The Great Work - which has been #1 on the Ambient Chart forever! This is a great tribute, Ken - it would be fabulous for any of us to think we had this much affect in such a meaningful way with our music - and especially with another musician.

WOW!!! Crying right now. Reading your words, Ken, means ever so much to me. I am so thankful that you feel this way, not so much about me, but about how "YOU" now are feeling about yourself and life in general. What you have written... right here... right now... is the greatest blessing I could ever hope for through my posting of music online. "THIS" is actually "WHY" I offered it! I was blessed with a very good job, fortunately, so it was never about "money". And what you have written is worth so much more than that anyway. Thank You! You haven't just made my day, Ken, you have made my decade... or even decadeS. And I Thank God that my lifelong quest has finally served its purpose. Amen to THAT!!!

Well you see the thing about it is -M- usually once someone falls off a cliff its just to late. I've been falling for quite sometime. It seemed and endless dark oblivion the bottomless abyss that just drains the life out of you a little each day. Until one day you can't remember who you were where you came from or where your going.
Somewhere in the distance out of the corner of the eye a glimmer appears and you think to yourself no its not possible after so much time and distance had gone by and you almost dismiss it as a hallucination. But something about it feels real and feels right and the longer you look the brighter and truer it grows.
I can't help but think to myself if someone such as me can rekindle the flame from a spark maybe others here can too. So I say to you my fellow weary do the hard thing seek to have your creations touch someones heart. Seek to make someone smile, cry, laugh, be angry or whatever message it is your trying to tell them. Let them hear your raw true unique gift that only you can bring them that is your creation.
If you do this thing, the thing that is hard and not the easy path if you remember who you once were and why you started this journey. One day at the right moment in the right time your creation will sparkle someones ear and put a light in their eyes.
This is our time this is our world. We are the ones who light the way when there is no light to be found. As long as there is breath there is life each day brings challenges but it also brings choices and chances to become something new to become that which has no beginning and no end but lives in harmony with the universe. Be that who you were always destined to be. The only one who can stop you from becoming everything you dream is yourself.

Amen to THAT! We all need to sigh low! "To Sigh"... "Low" is "Complex" and also "A" complex which can change one's "complexion". Bow down thine face unto the ground and notice the redness that be found upon the muscles of thine face. Be it from the shame or the exertion matters not. The "color" is all that "counts"(Dracula you might well say) when doing that "sighing". That Garden of Gethsemane should now come to mind... or "mine"(as in gold-digging... and "Mine" too). "Sighing" is a singing out and a "signing" of your name upon THAT Truth(you KNOW "The One")... that we hold so dear? THAT "One" which we ALL fear! Fearing "It" The MOST... as if it were "God" in fact... and "IT" IS!!! It is "Golden" too... better known as "Gold In Two"... and "Having a Pair"... where the two "Eyes" HAVE "IT" together... United As One... in agreement... saying, "Aye! Aye!" ...and AMEN! ...where "men" is "plural" too(two?)... ya "Hear" it?... Yes? Well, then FINE! The "I's" will have "IT" after all!! For after all of THIS... THAT is how IT is "DONE"! fini! And now God can rest again! For whenever "WE" perform Our Duty... and "Care"... caring enough to "Carry On"... we are then "Abel"... and therefore "able" to bear... and thereby "bare" THIS... "His"(hisssing like that proverbial serpent) Burden. "Here I Am, God!" "Here" I am God... "Hear" THAT? "Here"... I "AM" God... Here "I AM" and "IT IS"... Time At Last! And Good Mourning To Ya! Good Mourning One And All!

Ken, the last paragraph of your post above ... thanks for writing that. I found that so inspiring this morning. I gotta say a lot of friends of mine have had a tough time this past year, and particularly these past few months. I've been sort of struggling myself. So who knows what's going on. Sometimes it's really painful to make the changes that lead to the most fabulous things. As you say "The only one who can stop you from becoming everything you dream is yourself." That much I totally know is true. Have a wonderful Happy New Year.

Hey Dolores good to hear from you again. Its not me you should thank but "Pysche's Muse" After all he inspired me and this post. You have also inspired me with your groovy electronica. So much so that I covered "lime translucent" and I rarely cover anything. I had so much fun doing that and you were so enthusiastic about it that was fantastic. Sometimes when I listen to it I smile and think about you and your version.
I'm glad something that I said here was a good word for you in the new year. The thing about this merry band of brother hood we have together in music is that no matter how hard they might try or how horrible the outside world gets we get to choose a different path. We get to make music which is such a beautiful gift.
I know there are others here who have had hard times and while I won't say I'm glad for them I will say that together we all have the ability to overcome anything mental or physical
I hope everyone here and beyond makes the most of 2019 and each moment. Time is fleeting. Find a away to do what you love and be at peace with yourself.
These days the world needs more poets, music makers, day dreamers, and believers.
