to get back in to the loop. its an effort sometimes. engaging people artists regarding their releases, a thank you as some station managers have said numerous times, well that would be a nice gesture, some do, many dont. Not looking for kudos though, and never have posted in all the years I have been a station manager an observation, perhaps people either dont see it when added to their tagboard, or maybe dont get an email advising or perhaps they are just here for the free ride. dump songs, take off. bam. although after months I do see somebody did say thanks today, that is gratifying,

ok I am not wanting to be nominated for Station manager this year, just letting you all know that right now. thank you for your past support and votes giving me the award 2 years in a row that is a big honor, so throw your support towards the many other worthy candidates.

as for the pipeline. it can get lively, I dont see it growing as it should, but should is a word that should not be used, because it is lame , frankly it has not changed that much IMO , the usual convicts show up frequently, others less frequently. perhaps a few oldtimers popping in some from way back in the day, some new people jumping in on occasion. Guess it is up for the few of us to engage people with interesting topics, current things that are going on in our life, or the people we know, I recently posted about one of the stellar artists I promote. not a peep, hmm anyways, like what has been said here before, most people are so into themselves, they rarely have time for others. self indulged society , rarely stepping out and sacrificing for others, one such person always does here, and in a big way, all the time. no one can match their drive enthusiasm and love for the place, keeping it active. doing interviews. keeping us abreast of what is going on,. so thanks to Scott for all that and his continued efforts and keeping it together with baling wire and string. blood sweat and tears, we should be thank him, to thanks man, you rock

let me clarify something here, there are the faithful who come here daily, or so who do thank us as station managers for taking the time to add their songs to our stations, i like to add a few words about their tunes, that is a nice gesture and adds to the interest of the station, builds interaction. so I am not saying people do not thank us, i am just bringing to some peoples attention to be more aware of their tag board. not that it really matters, I still will add songs and build my playlist without any expectations at all. You know who you are who swing my my stations and thank me all the time. appreciate that immensely, would like to see some say at least something for those of us station managers who do take the time, and it takes a lot of time out of our busy day to listen to songs, consider them , some wont make it, on the list many do,. but it is for the love of the listening and appreciation for your tunes, so I thank you for making those songs, takes way more effort to make art then listen to it cheers !!!

Hi Bryon.

Just as a general thing,
thank you for your constant awesomeness.

I used to put a thank you every time I'm added to a station...

Certainly, thank you, for every time you add me
to one of your stations. I appreciate it every time.

I just began to feel pedantic always saying a thank you,
perhaps a bit silly...

I am indeed thankful, always.

You are a deep thinker and a great musician,
you'd be very fun to jam with, too bad NY and Canada
aren't all that close,

unless you're in Ellenburg NY,
and then it's a walk across a cowfield,

but I've not been there since, oh, 2001.

Trying, is the name of the game,
in the Search For Ultimate Awesomeness,

Try We Will, Try We Do, Try We Must.

I know,
Yoda says,

"there is do, there is not do, there is no try",

even if at any level that turns out to be true,
I'm quite sure one doesn't get to that level,
without one heluva lot of trying.

thanks for that, yeah, i hear you, guess you a right, thanks for the clear definitive answer. I appreciate your thoughts Lesley. I rarely say anything in regards to station managers getting their due and maybe this was the very first time bringing this forward. I have not done it before. others have. kinda lingered in my mind today, should have slapped it down and squashed it. . maybe looking for some attention I guess. and or acknowledgement. we are creatures that need to have some of that. I live in a glass jar . looking to outside its kinda blurry lol , cool response. really good!!!

oh you are most definitely awesome, Bryon.

That is not, to be certain, as some might suggest 'ass kissing',

it is in fact, a compliment, that is not afraid nor ashamed to be a compliment.
I am a naturally ebullient and enthusiastic person,
all the more so since I quit pot after nearly a lifetime of constant smoking it...
... I couldn't afford it, and food, I like food better, plus, I like that I am
now quicker of wit and slower to come up with so many harebrained ideas...
(I had more than a few of them in my travels...)

you are a very prolific station master,
and I am absolutely thrilled every time I end up on
one of yours stations,

and generally one doesn't find the occasion to really say, all that...

but, here, was an opening to do just that, so I did.

You are an incredible musician,
I don't know that enough people realize that,
probably not,
they don't with me,
but you see that I'm an incredible musician,
and I see the same of you!

I'd love to collaborate sometime if you're game to have a go at it.

Be well! Good & Productive Creativity, Always...

God Bless, Much Love, ~Lesley
