So. where will you be in 5 years
Still here? walking upright, building relationships, doing what we love, are we enduring life or enjoying it? oh I will be listening to music or making music perhaps,at my age every day is a bonus, so me living or dead, its either one or the other LOL what will I be doing, well folks, man who knows, cant think about the future, only about the right now, do something worthwhile and productive,. and the time I spend here over the years has been ridiculous, if any of you knew, you would go, are you nuts! I have enjoyed the interaction, created chaos at times, displayed behavior that may have been inappropriate, pissed off some people, but in the end, I have garnered a lot of respect and many friends, done a ton of collabs and learned a lot, thanks for the good times ,hope to have more.

not sure why I posted this.

I have so much to do today and have spent a couple hours listening to music, posting songs and reviews and commentary, do I have better things to do, or more productive things,, yes I do, perhaps I waste time. so I need to treat my time I have left with respect, the runway is getting shorter all the time

cheers and all the best

well, if I make it to five years from now,
I will have been nine years dead.

Technically speaking.

I died four years ago, bastards brought me back, what bloody nerve.
It's true, my wife kicked the bucket, left me behind two buckets of morphine----
which, let's get this disclaimer in, I do not advocate, don't try this at home, Folks----
and I went to merrily follow behind her, and it actually worked,
I went beeeep. __________________________________ flatline,
quite dead, for several minutes...

they managed to get me back,
and my first thought was
"Oh you gotta be f***in' kidding me"...

but, after all that, and a visit to hell, very informative,
you know the saying 'nice place to visit but you wouldn't wanna live there?'
yeah, it's not even a nice place to visit, remarkably crowded though...
not sure what's the appeal,

anyway, The Almighty Harold
(our father whom makes art in Heaven, Harold be thy name)
got His bloody Point Across,

"you're done when I say you're done, not till then, got that you wee git?"

Yes, Sir, I think so Sir, please don't send me to that awful place anymore, Sir.

But, having been dead,
boy does that put things into perspective.

I fear no man.

Don't wanna piss off God too bloody much, but I fear no man.

And generally speaking, I stopped a lot of bad habits,
drinking alcohol, nearly a month ago quit smoking pot after a lifetime of
it, though I advocate it's legality across our great nation, and yours,
and hope to maybe in maybe twenty or thirty years or so wind up
rich enough I can settled down in Colorado smoking the finest ganja
that money can buy, and having conversations with the local cacti.

After a while, I'll learn their names and everything.

In the meanwhile, it's all become very simple for me,
first, the basic principle,

here and now,
here and now,
here and now,

so, in a way, screw five years, I'll sort it out in five years,
I do me work now, and me work is music,
it's what we do,

and I just try to get better at it, you know.

I guess we all do, though they're all the way dead,
(I was just dipped in the River Jordan, giving me a few new magic powers)
and they don't care past the fun of doing it.

Five years from now, be nice if the world's even still here in five years.

I say, make the most of every day, be it seemingly everyday or not.

Pretty much what you said, you said it your way, I said it mine,

and God will win the argument anyway with anyone dumb enough to argue.
This, I can tell you.

God Bless, Much Love, ~Lesley Jane

well I suspect I'll still be with IMP. The bigger question is will I still be doing what I'm doing today, wondering why more people aren't clicking the newest song I am a part of.

I started writing music way on in my adult life, but have been in bands and did a lot of solo playing. if I had it over again, I would not change a thing, cause we walk the path we choose. so that is a dumb saying, if I had it to do over. It is over, we choose what we did, anyways, I am doing my best to get what I have out there in the music scene, if it crawls walks or runs that be cool. some will do better them others. it always is the ones you dont think will succeed and do the best, we all have our fav tunes, we love, yet, those rarely are the ones that I have done that catch peoples attention, anyone find that as well, you think you got a great song, and no one loves it. its kinda funny that way!

where will I be in 5 years, well standing upright and still walking and breathing, but if not, I will still be here. in some form
