TonyGirl: Where Am I?
Hi!

I've had such nice reviews in the past to my songs ' Murdering Lights ' and ' Whatever Happens ' and I've collected them on my FB page and my homesite. Now I had this idea to make a video on YouTube with those comments/reviews and samples of the songs ( feel free to copy the idea ).

I have a new song out called ' Where Am I? ' and I'd like to include it as well on the video but I need more reviews.
eye station manager wrote: " TonyGirl brings a catchy retro vibe with tasty vocals that have a haunting quality, real good bass happening and solid percussion holding it all together, well appointed wonderful guitar work , welcome to the eYe added to station 8/25/2017 2:30:12 PM ", which is a very wonderful review.

This is the best song I've done so far. It's folk indie 60's style with reggae. I'd really, really appreciate if you'd take time to listen to it and comment on it. Thank you so much!
p.s: If you don't want your name mentioned on my video/homesite etc, please do mention it.

Here's the song link: http://indiemusicpeople.com/iac_test2_dev/index3.html?ID=A159535&SongID=111876&Source=Artist_159535_Single

Thank you!
With love, TonyGirl

p.s: I still don't know how to find the html code for the song... Sorry for that.

p.s: Is this the code...?

Very nice song well produced that allows some openings of imagination,
Would not it be surprising to hear it at the end of a movie.

Well, I like the song a lot. The vocals, and the reverb on them, are so perfectly spacey and the music is great. Bass line was fantastic. It does sound like a song you would hear as the credits to a movie roll. I saw you took down U. Don't take this one down! U was cool too.

A great production in all aspects, with many intriguing elements, from the atmospheric vocals to the great bassline, to the chord progression itself. The acoustic piano contributed very much to the mood. An extra special idea was the whistling melody in one section which evoked Ennio Morricone. The lyrics take the listener to, and through, a dark place, and into the light. The best yet from TonyGirl, and that's saying something!

This song will be added to Heavy Rotation station and this review will be posted there.

Thank you. Yeah I wanted to make room for imagination and it's great to hear it works.

Thanks, I had a vision about spacey vocals and asked to put more echo in the song a few times. I will never take this one down and I will re-release U. someday with better production quality and new vocals etc. I felt like it wasn't a good idea after all to sing that when I was pregrant and had the belly bump giving pressure to my lungs. I hurried with the release and wasn't pleased with it.

Thank you. I also think Where Am I? is best so far. The whistle was my last minute idea and I couldn't imagine the song without it anymore.
