Timeless Fruit
Women are the givers of life
the rivers of love in all it's complexities
and without whom, Music and Art would be
non-existent....or at least, it would be,
yet a stagnant mirror of a fruitless
shallow grave of unhappiness.
Oh, sweet womanhood...let LIFE be born!
Let joy of the heart be given, ripped and torn!
Let Mountains fall before your blood and glory!
Let wars be fought and Honor return to your name!
Let the warming hearth of your womb and oven remain untamed!
And let all upon the Earth and beyond
bear witness to your gentle and deadly charm!
Books, stories, sounds from strings and musical things,
hands of men clutch and mold strange clay,
painting, brushing away while their hearts pound,
visions of your essence and mysteries
driving their souls and minds
while you remain undefined....
escaping the clutching reach....
unto your nectar we swim,
without your love we weep
